{title:'Respectful use',text:'Do not harass others, share unlawful content, impersonate people, interfere with the service, misuse SOS alerts or upload information you have no right to share. You retain your rights in your content and permit us to process it to provide the features you choose. Only add emergency contacts who have agreed to this role. Information you post in a support circle can be seen by its members; avoid sharing confidential health or financial records there.'},

{title:'Contacts, location and sharing',text:'Emergency-contact names and phone numbers are stored with your plan. Obtain their agreement before adding them and direct them to this notice. When you choose to add a location or send an alert, your browser requests location permission. The captured coordinates, approximate accuracy and time may be included in a help message. This is a captured pin, not continuous tracking. Manual messaging passes the message to the app you open; it is sent only when you send it there. If automatic SMS is active, the sending provider processes the recipient numbers and message, including any location. Support-circle posts are shared with circle members. External WhatsApp groups and businesses apply their own privacy terms.'},
{title:'Service providers and overseas processing',text:'Supabase provides authentication. Afrihost provides application hosting and private storage, including saved plans and application uploads. PayFast handles checkout, card details and recurring payments; Sovereign receives subscription identifiers and payment status, not your full card number or CVV. Twilio processes automatic SMS when connected. Our email provider handles support correspondence. Providers may process information outside South Africa. We must use lawful transfer arrangements and appropriate safeguards; contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data.'},
{title:'Security and retention',text:'Access to private workspace requests requires authenticated sign-in. No internet service can promise absolute security. Keep your device and password secure, and log out on shared devices. Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete your account or saved plan. We retain records needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, security and dispute obligations, and delete or de-identify records when no longer needed. Backups may retain records for their backup lifecycle. Contact us for the retention period applying to a particular record.'},

Eligible trial checkout shows R0 today and the recurring amount. R99,99 per month begins after the trial unless cancelled, then renews monthly until cancelled. Check the trial end date shown in your membership screen. Existing or returning accounts may have used their trial already; the checkout screen explains the charge before you authorise it.'},
{title:'Business affiliate membership',text:'An approved business affiliate listing is R299,99 per month, separate from personal membership, with no free trial. Obtain listing approval before subscribing. Payment does not itself publish a listing or guarantee enquiries or sales. Prices are in South African rand. Your checkout must show the total amount payable and any applicable taxes or additional charges before you authorise payment.'},
{title:'How to cancel',text:'Open Membership in your account, find Your subscriptions and select Cancel subscription. Cancel before your trial ends to avoid the first charge. You can also email hello@hersovereign.com from your account email to request cancellation. The app displays confirmation only after PayFast confirms cancellation. If cancellation fails or remains unconfirmed, contact support promptly. Once confirmed, future recurring charges stop; any remaining trial or paid membership period stays available.'},

This does not limit statutory cooling-off rights, remedies for defective or undelivered services, unauthorised charges or other rights under applicable South African consumer law. {title:'Location permission',text:'Location is requested when you choose to add it or send an alert. By choosing that action, you ask Sovereign to include the available pin in the message to your nominated contacts. If permission is denied or a location cannot be obtained, an alert may be sent without it. The pin captures a location at that time and may be inaccurate; it does not follow you as you move. Google Maps links open an external service.'},
